Esmeralda and Kelvin’s Het Vlock Casteel wedding
We have been waiting for Esmeralda and Kelvin’s Het Vlock Casteel wedding for a long time and it was worth the wait! It was definitely the most detail-filled and though through celebration this year. Every little detail had a meaning, connecting with the couple’s history and heritage. But let’s start from the beginning!
We he met Esmeralda and Kelvin over a year ago and discussed their wedding plans. When we found out they are planning a Spanish-themed celebration, we couldn’t be more excited! We adore weddings with a strong theme and we knew Esmeralda is going to perfect every single detail of her Spanish-inspired decor. And so the day finally came! The entire Het Vlock Casteel wedding hall was transformed into a Spanish castle, with drapes and fairy lights hanging from the ceiling. The decor was kept in red and black, the traditional colours of Spain. The Spanish connection is very strong in both families, therefore both bride and groom joined their forces in creating their fairytale Het Vlock Casteel wedding.
Esmeralda’s dress was custom made from european lace, with a colourful layer underneath, to resemble the style of flamenco dancers dresses. We cannot express how beautiful this bride looked when she finally put on this precious gown, finished off with fine details (see the shoes). The bridesmaids and a ring bearer led the bridal procession and finally we all stood there speeches, as esmeralda walked down the aisle on the arm of her father. The ceremony, conducted by female wedding official, was deep and meaningful, yet entertaining. The couple exchanged rings and performed a traditional Spanish coin ceremony, where they pass coins to each other as a symbol of support. When all the formalities were over, Esmeralda and Kelvin kissed passionately and, yes, changed their Facebook status to “married”. Family and friends showered the newlyweds with confetti and we all relocated to the venue for the eventful reception.
As the couple was enjoying their quiet moments during the photo session, the guests were entertained by a flamenco dancer. We captured some beautiful portraits in the vineyards surrounding the venue. Het Vlock Casteel wedding venue was absolutely perfect for this Spanish-inspired celebration! With stone walls and iron balustrades, it looks just like Spanish medieval castle. The guests enjoyed fun filled evening, with even more dancing, fabulous catering and entertainment. Our favourite moment was the first dance! As the couple walked onto the dance floor, clouds started pouring from the side and filled the floor with nimbus-like mist. All the guests lit their sparklers and we watched this breathtaking moment.
We enjoyed every minute of Esmeralda and Kelvin’s Het Vlock Casteel wedding! The overwhelming love from friends and family and a masterfully prepared decor made this evening so special! We wish Esmeralda and Kelvin many years filled with love and happiness. Capturing the beginning of this “happily ever after” was a true privilege!
