Lieschen and Brook’s Cape Town destination wedding
Since both bride and groom come from distant lands, they have decided on Cape Town destination wedding. This celebration has been a journey for all of us! We have watched Lieschen’s family take selfies before getting on the plane and shared the excitement of both parties meeting each other in the beautiful Cape Town.
The couple chose Allee Bleue to be their wedding venue and we couldn’t have been more excited. This spacious venue with so much character and extravagant decor was just perfect for their Cape Town destination wedding! The seven (yes, seven) bridesmaids were getting ready in the manor house, filling the rooms with laughter. We could tell that these girls are special to each other and we are participating in a very significant and emotional celebration. Lieschen found fabulous outfits for her bridesmaids and brought them all the way from Florida. The girls looked lovely when they all put their outfits on and gathered around to dress the bride. Lieschen’s chose a classic, yet very detailed gown that suited her gorgeous figure and her personality perfectly. We all sighed when she stood in the middle of the manor ouse all ready to mary her captain! (yes, Brook is a real life captain, wink)
The bride arrived in a classic Jaguar for her Cape Town destination wedding. Proceeded by the flower girls, ring security (adorable!) and her seven beautiful bridesmaids, Lieschen finally made her way to tie the knot. The ceremony, framed by the Franshoek mountain range, was applauded and welcomed with tears. And then Caroline-Grace Brüssow sand a song and left us all speechless. Lieschen and Brook finally got to kiss as Mr and Mrs O’Neill and hopped into the Jaguar for their romantic Cape Town destination wedding photo shoot.
The vineyards were lit by fiery sunset, as we followed Liechen and Brook into the vines. We didn’t pose them, the couple was so excited to start their “happily ever after”, we captured some magnificent images and footage. Nothing makes us happier than capturing the moments exactly how the bride envisioned them! The golden sunset, autumn leaves and the romance came together perfectly.
The reception, fabulously decorated in hanging florals and naked bulbs, was a scene to some spectacular dance moves. The absolute cake topper was however the choreographed dance that all the bridesmaids and the bride performed for the groom. Brook enjoyed this tailored performance from eight beautiful girls dancing just for him!
We wisch Lieschen and Brook many more celebrations like their wedding day. Looking at the enthusiasm both families share, we hope it won’t be long before we see this lively crowd back in Cape Town. We wish you only calm waters and gentle winds on your journey ahead, Lieschen and Captain Brook!
