Natalie and Andrew’s Lourensford wedding
There is nothing more romantic than a Lourensford wedding! Natalie and Andrew tied the knot amongst the vineyards, with magnificent mountains being them. The bride looked breathtaking with her shimmering head piece and a long, dark hair cascading down on one shoulder. We all sighed as she walked down the aisle on the arm of the proud father! The couple chose the white polo deck for the ceremony and had it decorated with flowers and wire gazebo. This secluded spot made the Lourensford wedding ceremony so special, as there was jus greenery and nature around us.
We loved both preparation venues! The boys were getting ready at Colourful Manor in Gordons Bay. This modern place, full of hidden luxuries, was a perfect ground for groom and groomsmen preparation. The boys came from all corners of the world to witness their friend getting married and they truly enjoyed spending some time together. The laughs and jokes were endless! After we fitted everybody with appropriate outfits and took some lovely photographs, we went over to the ladies.
The girls chose Mark and Jackie’s house at De Zalze for the bridal preparation. What a beautiful house they live in! Spacious interiors and full length mirrors were perfect to capture all the makeup, excitement and interactions between loving members of the family. Finally we got to see Natalie in her wedding gown, surrounded with her lovely bridesmaids. Preparation is such a special time of the wedding, with all the anticipation for the upcoming event! This bride wasn’t going to be late fro her Lourensford wedding, so she immediately got in the car and drove away to the venue.
The simple yet meaningful ceremony joined these two beautiful souls in matrimony. While the guests enjoyed some cocktails and live music, we sneaked the couple out for a few portraits. We ad the pleasure to take a few shots with Sam, adorable Fresian horse residing on the farm. Sam has never seen a bride in a big, white dress before, but Natalie convinced him with glen strokes all over his face that there is nothing to worry about. We captured the colour of the sunset amongst the vineyards and documented some precious moments from Natalie and Andrew’s Lourensford wedding.
The dancing carried long into the night! Natalie decorated the reception hall so beautifully, with massive live trees, strings of fairy lights and bouquets of white flowers. The guests enjoyed the dance floor and, of course, the photo booth. It was so nice to capture family and friends sharing those special moments of Natalie and Andrew’s Lourensford wedding! We wish the couple all the joy and love they deserve and we hope they will come visit Cape Town often!
