It was an honour and a pleasure to capture wedding photography and videography at this extraordinary wedding! Chandre and Shayan travelled all the way from Mauritius to tie the knot on the Bride’s home grounds. They couldn’t choose a more perfect location for their classic and elegant wedding than Molenvliet! This iconic venue, framed by majestic mountain range, is an oasis of luxury. The Bride enjoyed getting dressed amongst her girlfriends, all wearing fabulous silk gowns. There was bubbles and laughter, lots of laughter! We love those natural moments, they are the essence of wedding photography and videography. The boys enjoyed their preparation too, trying to figure out which shirt belongs to who. Not an easy task with such a large bridal party!
Chandre chose a classic gown from Maggie Sottero and it was oh-so-perfect! Being a professional model, the Bride looked like she stepped out of a catalogue. We all sighed when Chandre’s mum dropped the veil over her daughter’s face final touch before walking down the aisle. The bridesmaids came first, gracefully parading down the long white aisle at Molenvliet. Then came the Bride on the arm of her father. What a perfect moment! We will never forget this beautiful young lady, dressed in her exquisite gown, as she took the turn towards her soulmate. The touching ceremony, conducted under a lavish floral arch, tied the knot.
Once the rings were exchanged and the confetti was tossed, the guests took a walk amongst the vineyard’s towards the reception hall. We loved the open landscape, the perfect opportunity to shoot a drone up and capture a different angle of wedding photography and videography. The guests waved at the drone and carried on towards the cocktail area. The reception hall looked unreal! There must have been thousands of roses, arranged in bouquets and displayed in crystal vases. The decor was truly worth a royal wedding. In my personal opinion, Chandre’s wedding decor was much more royal than the last royal wedding of England. The guests applauded the couple entering the room and the reception has begun. Touching speeches, toasts, and lots of dancing. The guests took over the dance floor and danced the night away to the sound of the band. The dancing looks phenomenal in wedding photography and video! It seems like the Mauritius guests were competing with the locals for dance moves. All to a good cause! Fantastic party carried long into the night. I’m sure this unforgettable night will be remember for a long time!
