We had the privilege and experience to photograph Jenna and Joakim’s L’Avenir wedding. From the moment we arrived at the wedding we were in awe, not just of the beautiful venue and decor but of the couple. Their wedding was at the picturesque L’avenir venue in Stellenbosch and it couldn’t be a more romantic venue. Jenna and Joakim shared their special day with friends and loved ones from all over. The breathtaking scenery at the venue made for a gorgeous backdrop for their L’avenir wedding photography. She has made a summersault right into our hearts and Joakim’s. This beautiful love story was perfectly captured in their photos.
Jenna was an absolutely stunning bride. She made all the heads turn in her detailed lace dress, the elegance she portrayed on the day was frozen for a moment in time in their L’Avenir wedding photography. The absolute amazement was evident on Joakim’s face as he washed his blushing bride float down the aisle to take her rightful place by his side. They exchanged vows that left the guests speechless. We stole Jenna and Joakim away after the ceremony to take a few portraits. As we were capturing them the guests were enjoying drinks and canapés at the reception area. The venue was decorated with beautiful white roses and gave a feeling of peace and love.
We didn’t forget the party, how could we? This crowd was ready to let it loose on the dance floor. As a surprise for Jenna, Joakim booked African drummers to entertain the guests and they were entertained! The drummers brought everyone to their feet dancing and kicked off the party with a literal bang.
We were so honoured to be a part of their special day and capture every special moment for them.
