Kim and Alex’s International Wedding was held at the consistently voted as one of South Africa’s top wedding venue destinations, Cavalli Estate, a dream setting for any celebration. Cavalli Estate is known for its exquisite views within its modern and luxurious context, nestled below the majestic Helderberg mountains. The venue accommodated Kim and Alex’s international wedding in such a great manner by using the venue’s sunken garden, a formal hedged garden, for their ceremony. The green enclosure is a picturesque space for an outdoor wedding ceremony with live entertainment. Guests made their way to the deck overlooking the gorgeous dam for their pre-drinks, where a harp player provided the entertainment for the time being. Overlooking the horizon with an outstanding sunset, the garden complimented our photography perfectly. Wedding guests entered the main wedding venue, which is contemporary and neutral. It can be adapted to suit the style of the wedding, with ample space for guests to play around with. The floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors afforded us gorgeous natural light as well as the view over the water towards the breathtaking mountains of the Cape Winelands.
As the couple entered the venue through a floral arch, followed by a marimba band, all guests cheered! Kim and Alex looked spectacular! Kim was dressed in a gorgeous detailed wedding dress designed in Barcelona by Atelier Pronovius. Alex’s suit was a deep maroon in colour and made by Moss Tailor Me. The décor elements played a huge role in Kim and Alex’s International Wedding, using this venue, they were able to use this venue to its full potential by using a neutral colour scheme such as ivory, gold and hints of green. Fairy light curtains were placed all around the venue to create a fairytale illusion! A gorgeous three-tier white marble cake was placed in the middle of the dance floor, plated on a gold cake stand which made the centre of the venue pop! Seating for guests was comfortable with beautiful gold rimmed underplates, gold cutlery, glass candle holders with white candles as well as a special treat for each guest placed on their plate, a bit of white macaroons as their thank you gift!
It was such a pleasure and an honour to work at Kim and Alex’s international wedding!
Congratulations to the special couple!
