Mahali and Tatenda had their friends and family fly from around the country for their Nooitgedacht wedding. This spectacular venue is based on a historical Cape Dutch wine estate in Stellenbosch, with a homestead that dates back to 1744. The ceremony was held in the historical driveway, with lawns shaded by centuries-old oak trees. What an amazing celebration to be a part of! The bride chose this venue for the rolling vineyards and architecture exhibiting a truly old-world atmosphere balanced by contemporary design features.
Mahali got dressed alongside her bridesmaids in the manor house which was very spacious for them to get ready in. The Bride chose a custom gown with lace detail made by the famous Anna Georgina. Tatenda and his groomsmen got ready at an outstanding location, Asara Wine Estate and Hotel, wearing a classic navy tux. Mahali and Tatenda had a gorgeous ceremony that took place in a paved lane alongside the big lawn area. The paved lane had seating on either side for guests and a floral arch for the couple. The reception of this splendid Nooitgedacht wedding took place in the main hall, which was once a wine cellar. This double-story room serves as an open canvas for couples who want to personalise the space and bring a special touch to their celebration.
The décor in the Nooitgedacht Venue consisted of white round plinth tables and white Tiffany chairs. The biggest aspect that stood out was the white draping and curtain fairy lights in-between the draping as well as the five-tier cake with white and pink roses! The guests enjoyed the short speeches and took over the dance floor immediately. This African bride and her bridal party love the dance floor! It was so pleasant to see the guests making the most of the night, with lively dancing and celebrations.
Congratulations Mahali and Tatenda on your special day!
