Real wedding photography is what all the Brides-to Be are after. We are so excited to be able to share Tubana and Mike’s wedding with Nubian Bride magazine readers! This magazine is a leading publication for the African brides and this wedding was such a unique and fine celebration. Tubana and Mike, together with al their relatives and friends, travelled from Angola and Scotland to tie the knot in the beautiful Cape Town. They chose a luxury villa as their wedding venue and managed to hand-pick all the best wedding service providers in town. It was such a pleasure to do real wedding photography at this function. The cherry on the cake for this wedding was the bride’s dress, a custom-made gown, hand fitted by the designed Kobus Dippenaar.
Although Tubana and Mike’s wedding wasn’t a huge one (about fifty guests attended), all the details were perfectly planned and executed. From the Bride’s gown, to the Groom and the groomsmen outfits. All the men related to the Groom paraded in Scottish kilts and they loved it! The Bride was welcomed by two raws of gentlemen in kilts outside of the church. We captured all the emotional moments in real wedding photography and video, encapsulating the emotions and the joy of the wedding day.
The reception was held at Villa Maison Noir, an iconic black villa designed and built by two American architects. This unique venue, nested on a mountain slop, is a showcase of modern western architecture and eastern serenity. The guests enjoyed champagne tower, endless toasts and vigorous dancing. The Bride changed into another dress from Kobus Dippenaar – a short lace dress topped with a spectacular ostrich feather boa. Dancing and toasts carried long into the night, as the couple and their guests celebrated this union.
